Sausage and Peppers
If you're looking for a short journey to heart-burn city, this meal is the
quickest ticket that we know of. We'd try to warn you off of this recipe,
but it is so very good. Where are those Tums?

Ingredients
- 8 sausage
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion
- 6 mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 large peppers (seeded and sliced into pieces)
- 1 pepper (seeded and sliced into pieces)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- salt & pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Instructions
We heat the oil in a large pan, over medium heat. We add the sausages and cook, turning frequently. We want them browned all over and this takes about 10 minutes. We add the onions and stir up the browned bits on the bottom of the pan. After a couple of minutes, we add the mushrooms. Then after another 2 minutes, we add the peppers, garlic, salt, pepper, and dried oregano. After lowering the heat we cook for another 5-10 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the sausages are cooked through.
