This dipping sauce is delicious with steamed or pan-fried dumplings. Originally served as part of Mu Shu Vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium tamari soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon frozen ginger (peeled and grated)
  • 1 medium light-part only scallion (sliced)

Instructions

We combine all the ingredients in a measuring cup and stir well. We divide between 2 serving ramekins.
